About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our team at MyCareersFuture. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in defining and documenting business needs and software requirements, working closely with stakeholders from our IT Division and aligned Business division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure business requirement analysis activities, including analyzing business requirements based on prioritization given by the Product Owner, helping the Product Owner and team in decomposing requirements into detailed stories, and translating requirements into cases into Functional Specification documents.
  • Ensure the functional design of the software delivered by the team, supporting functional knowledge of the team with the help of the Product Owner, researching to determine if solutions currently exist in or outside the team, and understanding technical constraints and participating in software design.
  • Ensure functional quality of the software and Production quality, analyzing functional change impacts on current production SLA & OLA, contributing to the Business Driven Development activities by providing user scenarios, contributing to functional testing and functional support activities, and contributing to deployment via functional pre-requisites and post-deployment checks.
  • Support the members of the team in their functional activities, training new joiners and team members functionally on the software, helping team members in solving their functional issues, and ensuring integration of the software in the IS in sync with the functional architect.
Requirements
  • At least 10 years of experience as a business analyst in a financial organization and more specifically on Market Data administration domain.
  • Relevant experience in FPML format.
  • Relevant experience on Asset Control software.
  • Exposure to the Capital Markets with proficiency in financial instruments (Bonds, Rates, Equity, etc..), trading lifecycle and specifically market data.
  • Relevant experience with working with external sources like Bloomberg, Reuters.
  • Expertise in static market data with knowledge of data types, sources, and uses within financial systems, including reference data, price data.
  • Proven experience in technical proficiency with strong skills in SQL, Excel, and possibility programming languages like Python or R for data manipulation and analysis. Familiarity with database management and querying.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both team members and management.
  • Ability to convey clearly and concisely ideas in a concrete and coherent way.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to easily communicate with multi-cultural team members.
  • Experience in Back Office system (Summit, Calypso) or Front-Office or Market Risk.
  • Usage of tools such as MS Office / Sharepoint / Project / Visio, Jira, GIT.
  • Understanding of UML.
