Senior Enterprise Architect

Alpha Rae Personnel is seeking a highly skilled Senior Enterprise Architect to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing and implementing technology architectures that meet the needs of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in technology architecture design, review, and deployment
  • Continuously identify, rationalize, and road-map new models and capabilities
  • Seek out and determine how mainstream and emerging technologies can be used to advance our IT roadmap
  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis on emerging technologies and evaluate their feasibility and potential impact
  • Engage technical teams and business stakeholders to discuss and propose technical approaches to meet current and future needs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify use cases and applications of emerging technologies that drive innovation and agency growth
  • Facilitate architecture gap assessment and creating a roadmap for bridging the gap
  • Advise senior management on the use of technology to improve business operations and advance organizational goals
  • Ensure IT strategic planning is aligned with our mission and plans
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, industry standards, and compliance with State of Ohio and our policy
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in architecture, computer science, information technology, or a related field
  • Excellent system architecture design knowledge of both infrastructure and application development
  • 8-10+ years of relevant professional experience in architecture and design
  • Proven experience in a senior or lead architect role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to evaluate complex systems and identify areas for improvement
  • Collaboration: knowledge and experience in enterprise architecture, understanding how systems fit into the larger organizational context
  • Experience with project management methodologies and practices
  • Strong communication skills to effectively convey architectural decisions and concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Leadership skills to guide and mentor other team members
