Maintenance Technician Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician at Ashton Potter, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment. Your expertise in machine shop fabrication, mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, and maintenance will be essential in keeping our production lines running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate machine tools to produce precision parts
  • Fabricate and modify parts to maintain industrial machines
  • Perform basic to advanced machine shop fabrication
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems
  • Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and perform required maintenance
  • Install repaired parts into equipment or install new equipment
  • Review work requests and recommend solutions

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of related experience and/or training
  • Experience in maintenance of printing and finishing equipment
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and basic electrical problems
