  • Investigate and resolve faults on packaging machinery and automated equipment at client sites, minimizing downtime and ensuring maximum productivity.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to clients, ensuring they understand the operation and maintenance of the equipment.
  • Collaborate with our engineering team to provide feedback and insights into equipment performance, potential improvements, and innovative solutions.
  • Document all maintenance and repair activities in accurate and detailed service reports.
  • Stay up-to-date with new technologies and industry trends in packaging equipment and automation.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your technical skills and industry knowledge.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Field Service Engineer, specifically with packaging equipment and automated systems.
  • A degree in Engineering, or a related technical field, is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance techniques and best practices.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical and electrical faults.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information to non-technical clients.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think on your feet and make effective decisions under pressure.
  • A commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols and procedures.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites as required.
  • Proficiency in using computer software and applications for reporting and documentation.
  • A valid driver's license.
