Chemical Formulation Specialist

About the Job:

We are seeking a highly skilled Chemical Formulation Specialist to join our team at Global Channel Management. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for formulating hair-related products under the supervision of a Senior Chemist or Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Formulate hair-related products under supervision, utilizing laboratory equipment and software to document batch details and results.
• Develop cost estimates and project timelines with supervisor, adhering to project cost objectives and timelines.
• Conduct stability testing, track results, and summarize data for review at each test period.
• Design and conduct efficacy testing, as required, and write reports detailing experiments and analysis.
• Communicate formulation stability and efficacy results promptly and thoroughly, making recommendations for change or improvement when necessary.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science or Master of Science in Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 0-1 years of industry experience (Bachelor degree) or 0-1 years of industry experience (Master degree).
• Great computer skills and strong communication skills.

Travel Requirements:

Travel to pilot facility in Trumbull, CT, and manufacturing facility in Geneva, NY, as required.
