Job Responsibilities

We're looking for an experienced special education professional to provide specialized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs in a virtual setting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in differentiated instruction, IEP development and implementation, and digital learning tools.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
  2. Provide specialized instruction through virtual platforms.
  3. Collaborate with general education teachers to modify curriculum and ensure appropriate accommodations.
  4. Maintain detailed documentation of student progress and performance.
  5. Conduct virtual meetings with parents, staff, and other stakeholders.
  6. Monitor and assess student achievement using various digital assessment tools.
  7. Provide guidance and support to parents/guardians regarding at-home learning strategies.
Required Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A Master's degree in Special Education or related field.
  • Valid Idaho teaching certification with Special Education endorsement.
  • Minimum 2 years of classroom teaching experience in special education.
  • Proficiency in virtual learning platforms and educational technology.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with IEP development and implementation.
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
