We are seeking a highly skilled Training Development Specialist to design, implement and manage comprehensive training programs for civil engineering professionals. The ideal candidate will have experience in technical skills, leadership development and compliance training.

Job Description

This role focuses on enhancing technical competencies, fostering professional growth and ensuring alignment with industry standards and organizational objectives.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement comprehensive training programs for civil engineering positions, including technical skills, leadership development and compliance training.
  • Oversee career pathway mapping and conduct training needs analyses to identify skill gaps and prioritize areas for development.
  • Lead engaging training sessions, workshops and webinars.
  • Assist in selecting a Learning Management System (LMS) ideal for our work environment and serve as LMS Administrator.
  • Oversee succession planning and talent development plans.
  • Develop a future Aspiring Leaders Program as part of Keller Associates' growth and development initiatives.
  • Track PDH certifications and licensure renewals to ensure engineers meet industry requirements.
  • Support interns transitioning to Engineer-In-Training (EIT) positions and host special orientations.
  • Develop creative training manuals to supplement training and development programs.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Org Design & Development, Human Resources or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in training and development, with at least 3 years focused on developing and delivering training programs.
  • Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and/or e-learning platforms required.
  • Proficiency in instructional design methodologies and training technologies.

  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external stakeholders.
