Job Overview

Koorsen Fire & Security Inc. is seeking a skilled Security Systems Installation Technician to join our team in Nashville, TN. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining security systems, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and configure security systems, including intrusion, video surveillance, access control, and intercom systems.
  • Ensure customers understand the functionality of their system and provide excellent customer service.
  • Interact with customers, vendors, and co-workers in a professional manner.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of safety regulations and practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in security system installation and maintenance.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret diagrams, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Security, fire life safety, or low voltage experience.
  • Access and video manufacturer certifications.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Physical Demands
  • Able to safely and effectively use general hand and power tools.
  • Must be able to use a cell phone and phone apps effectively.
  • Lift and carry at least 50 lbs. Push and pull more significant than 75 lbs.
  • Climb a ladder reaching at least 12 feet and use a man lift to perform services.
Hiring Process
  1. New hires must complete the I-9 Verification form within three days of employment.
  2. All Positions require background checks with criminal courts, state and county repositories of criminal records, and the Department of Motor Vehicles.
  3. A test for Evidence of Substance Abuse by urinalysis test is required if this application results in an offer of employment.
