About the Role

As a Retail Sales Associate, you will play a vital role in driving sales growth and providing outstanding customer service to our valued members. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Sales Excellence: Consistently up-sell and cross-sell AAA products and services to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Travel Planning: Assist members in planning domestic travel vacations, including car rentals, hotels, vacation packages, maps, tour books, and triptiks.
  • Customer Service: Answer incoming calls for Roadside Assistance during peak call volumes, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Sales Savvy: Bring a minimum of six (6) months of sales or customer service experience to the table, demonstrating your ability to drive results and exceed expectations.
  • Communication Skills: Showcase effective written and oral communication skills, essential for engaging customers and articulating the value of AAA memberships.
  • Tech Proficiency: Navigate multiple websites and programs with ease, demonstrating proficiency in computer skills essential for multitasking in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • High School Diploma/GED: A minimum educational requirement to join our team.
  • Satisfactory Background: Must maintain a satisfactory criminal history and meet all state-specific legal requirements for this position both before and after hire.
