**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Special Events and Corporate Engagement Manager to join our team at Boys & Girls Clubs of Northwest San Diego. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and managing special events and corporate engagement initiatives that drive revenue growth and foster community relationships.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and implement annual event calendars, including signature events such as Uncorked for a Cause, Chip in for Kids Golf Tournament, and Annual Formal Gala.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership, staff, and volunteers to plan, coordinate, and execute all aspects of special events, including venue selection, catering, entertainment, and logistics.
  • Cultivate and manage corporate sponsorships, partnerships, and donor relationships to secure funding and resources for events.
  • Maintain accurate records of donations, sponsorships, and event metrics using Donor Perfect and Event Software.
  • Work closely with the Marketing Team to ensure effective promotion and marketing of events through various channels, including social media, email, and local press.
  • Ensure seamless execution of events, including registration, check-in, and check-out processes.

**Requirements**

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in marketing, PR, or fundraising/non-profit management.
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in managing special events that raise at least $1M.
  • Prior experience of public speaking required.
  • Additional experience preferred: administrative experience, marketing and public relations, relational databases (CRMs), non-profit work, fundraising, data-entry, working with boards and/or committees.
