Job Summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Staff Cost Accountant to join their team in the Houston, TX area. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of standard cost accounting experience and/or manufacturing experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform month-end close procedures and ensure accurate standard costing records.
  • Prepare monthly accruals and target costing projects.
  • Conduct monthly variance analysis and balance sheet reconciliations of inventory accounts.
  • Calculate and maintain inventory reserves.
  • Prepare and post journal entries.
  • Assist in reporting and execution of branches cycle count/physical inventory.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of cost accounting experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.

Compensation: $80,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year.
