Job Overview
As a key member of our team at Channel Personnel Services, you will be responsible for implementing and overseeing Process Safety Management (PSM) and Risk Management Plan (RMP) programs to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and lead Process Hazard Analysis (PHA), Layer of Protection Analysis (LOPA), and Facility Siting Studies for both existing operations and new projects.
• Collaborate with diverse teams to manage changes effectively through the Management of Change (MOC) processes.
• Create and refine written Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) & PSM procedures, policies, and documentation.
• Conduct thorough incident investigations and lead audits to verify adherence to internal protocols and industry regulations.
• Provide essential safety and process safety training to enhance the knowledge and awareness of plant personnel.
• Assist in the documentation and analysis of Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) and support Safety Integrity Level (SIL) assessments.
• Oversee relief device systems and ensure accurate documentation is maintained.
• Stay informed on the latest industry practices, regulations, and standards pertaining to process safety.
• Offer project insights regarding process safety requirements, including adherence to recognized engineering practices and industry consensus standards (e.g., NFPA, ASME, API, IEC, ASTM).
• Perform chemical dispersion modeling for PSM/RMP analysis as necessary.
• Maintain open communication with all personnel and departments to facilitate smooth operations.
• Uphold a strong understanding of industry best practices and maintain high ethical standards in the workplace.
• Complete mandatory training relevant to your role and responsibilities.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned by management.


Qualifications
• A degree in Engineering is preferred.
• 3-5+ years of relevant experience is required.
