We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at our Warrior, AL campus.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong foundation in nursing principles and practices. As a Licensed Practical Nurse on our Chemical Dependency Unit, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients struggling with addiction. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the physical, emotional, and psychological needs of our patients.

You will be expected to maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records, administer medications as ordered by physicians, and participate in Performance Improvement and Infection Control activities. Additionally, you will be responsible for educating patients and their family members about health and medical information related to their care.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide all duties of nursing services
  2. Follow Nursing policy and procedures regarding detoxification and other Nursing Services
  3. Carry out physician's orders and protocols as directed
  4. Participate in Performance Improvement and Infection Control activities as indicated
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved School of Nursing, current State license (LPN acceptable)
  • Two years experience in chemical dependency treatment
  • Experience with adults and adolescents preferred
