Position Summary
The Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the functionality and safety of our equipment and facilities. This position involves overseeing both in-house and third-party maintenance operations on company premises.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct repairs on mechanical systems and perform regular inspections of facilities to maintain operational efficiency.
- Utilize standard maintenance tools, including power tools and preventative maintenance technology.
- Execute preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Work in various conditions, including wet or cool environments and at different heights.
- Implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize equipment failures and enhance productivity.
- Research and recommend advanced equipment options for upgrading or replacing outdated machinery.
- Manage maintenance budgets and track equipment depreciation.
- Oversee the disposal of obsolete machinery and the installation of new equipment.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and generate reports on daily operations.
Qualifications
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
- Proficient in English communication (verbal and written).
- Experience in facility management or a related field, demonstrating expertise.
- Intermediate computer skills.
- Ability to perform equipment inspections and facilitate necessary repairs.
- Skill in identifying machine faults and building hazards for timely repairs.
- Strong analytical skills to define problems, gather data, and draw valid conclusions.
- Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to make informed decisions regarding product quality.
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.
- Quick decision-making skills in high-pressure situations.
- Attention to detail and adaptability in a fast-paced work environment.
