About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior Manager, Business Affairs Operations to join our team in NYC. As a key member of our business affairs department, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of talent contracting, including drafting, negotiating, and finalizing agreements in compliance with SAG-AFTRA guidelines and other union regulations.
About You:
We are looking for a seasoned professional with 10+ years of experience in business affairs management within an agency environment. You should have deep expertise in SAG-AFTRA agreements and union regulations, as well as proven experience in talent contracting, budget management, and rights clearance.
Responsibilities:
- Oversight of all aspects of talent contracting, including drafting, negotiating, and finalizing agreements
- Serve as the in-house expert on SAG-AFTRA policies, ensuring all projects adhere to union rules and regulations
- Budget Management: Collaborate with finance and production teams to manage talent budgets, ensuring financial efficiency while meeting creative and contractual requirements
- Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks in contracts and projects, providing strategic solutions to mitigate issues
- Talent Management: Foster strong relationships with talent, agents, and managers, acting as a trusted liaison between creative teams and business stakeholders
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in business affairs management within an agency environment
- Deep expertise in SAG-AFTRA agreements and union regulations
- Proven experience in talent contracting, budget management, and rights clearance
- Strong understanding of legal principles related to intellectual property, licensing, and talent agreements
- Exceptional risk assessment and problem-solving skills
Salary Range:$150,000 - $200,000 per year
