Role Overview
This position operates under moderate supervision, delivering analytical support to the Denials Research department. The role is pivotal in driving strategic initiatives by utilizing financial and analytical expertise. Responsibilities include responding to ad hoc reporting requests and addressing inquiries from users of financial reports. The analyst will conduct research on denials from insurance providers and present insights to leadership.
Educational Requirements
- Required: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Preferred: Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or an advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
Experience Requirements
- Preferred: Experience in financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting.
- Preferred: Background in the healthcare industry.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
- Proficient in computer applications and data entry.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly to diverse audiences.
