KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Conducting in-depth research on customer preferences and experiences within Ecommerce Marketplace channels.
  • Formulating and implementing digital marketing strategies, including SEO, online advertising, and conversion optimization.
  • Addressing strategic challenges by devising relevant research methodologies and analytical frameworks for Ecommerce Marketplace and Digital Growth strategies.
  • Effectively communicating with case teams and client stakeholders, establishing credibility and confidence.
  • Collaborating seamlessly within diverse teams, often in virtual settings, and demonstrating proficiency in agile methodologies.
  • Exhibiting flexibility and a creative mindset, remaining open to innovative concepts and approaches.
  • Navigating complex and ambiguous situations with ease.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • A minimum of 2 years of consulting experience in Ecommerce Marketplace digital marketing, SEO, online advertising, and growth strategy; candidates with a consulting background are highly preferred.
  • If lacking consulting experience, at least 3 years of relevant industry experience is required; 4-6 years of industry experience is strongly preferred.
  • Proficient in analyzing both quantitative and qualitative data to formulate marketing and commercial strategies aimed at driving digital growth in Ecommerce Marketplace channels.
  • A Bachelor's Degree is mandatory (an advanced degree is preferred).
  • Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in additional languages may be required in specific locations.
  • Demonstrated business acumen and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

As a Senior Knowledge Consultant, you will engage directly with clients and collaborate with BCG Project Leaders, Associates, and Consultants. During periods between projects, you will work alongside global topic leaders and colleagues across BCG to leverage expertise and capabilities for the benefit of our clients. Our team comprises a diverse array of knowledge professionals dedicated to pursuing innovative knowledge careers.


The Knowledge Team (KT) consists of functional and industry specialists who utilize their deep domain expertise to provide insights for case teams and clients. KT members are aligned with BCG Practice Areas, contributing to strategic initiatives and developing cutting-edge intellectual property and data tools to deliver valuable insights.


Members of BCG's Knowledge Team have the opportunity to be involved in client cases, co-creating insights with case teams and clients through expert perspectives on industry trends, delivering proprietary data or tools, and conducting comprehensive market research and analysis. KT members also support business development efforts and proposals, helping to organize and codify the knowledge that enables BCG to provide exceptional business value to its clients.
