About the Role

As the Electrical Construction and Education Program Manager at Facility Solutions Group, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the development and implementation of our apprenticeship programs. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that our apprentices receive the highest quality training and education in electrical construction and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Training Strategies: Create and execute comprehensive training plans that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Manage Apprenticeship Programs: Oversee the delivery of high-quality training to our apprentices, ensuring they meet industry standards and regulations.
  • Curriculum Development: Continuously review and update apprenticeship curricula to reflect industry best practices and regulations.
  • Team Leadership: Support a team of instructors and educators, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes growth and learning.
  • Mentorship and Professional Development: Provide guidance and opportunities for staff to develop their skills and expertise.
  • Program Evaluation: Establish metrics and assessment methods to evaluate the effectiveness and impact of training programs.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure all training programs comply with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and legal requirements.
  • Veteran Education Support: Provide dedicated support to military students, assisting them with enrollment and VA forms to facilitate their educational journey.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience in electrical construction and services, with a minimum of 5 years in Education, Training, or Craft Development programs.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, and educational methodologies. Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Additional Qualifications
  • Passion for Education: A strong commitment to professional development and a passion for education.
  • Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of Texas Workforce Career School College licensing requirements, Title IV requirements, and the accreditation process.
  • VA Certifying Official: Knowledge of VA Certifying Official requirements and processes.
  • NCCER Sponsor Representative: Familiarity with NCCER Sponsor Representative requirements and processes.
Compensation

$60,000 - $65,000 per year
