We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Cardiologist to join our team at WVU Medicine. As a Pediatric Cardiologist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, and contributing to the growth and development of our pediatric cardiology program.
Key Responsibilities- Practice in all areas of Pediatric Cardiology, including general cardiology, advanced imaging, interventional catheterization, noninvasive and invasive electrophysiology, adult congenital heart disease, and preventive cardiology.
- Provide excellent patient care, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of pediatric cardiovascular diseases.
- Teach medical students, residents, and fellows in the field of pediatric cardiology.
- Contribute to the growth and development of our pediatric cardiology program, including research, education, and quality improvement initiatives.
- MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent.
- Eligibility to obtain a state medical license.
- Completion of Pediatrics residency program and Pediatric Cardiology fellowship program.
- Board certification/eligibility in Pediatric Cardiology.
WVU Medicine is a tertiary care center for the state of West Virginia, Western Maryland, Southwestern Pennsylvania, and Southeastern Ohio. We offer a full range of pediatric services, including cardiothoracic surgery, cardiac catheterization, and interventional radiology. Our new 150-bed Children's Hospital features a full suite of pediatric operating rooms, cardiac catheterization lab/interventional radiology, and GI-endoscopy with dedicated pediatric anesthesia staff.
