Position Overview:

The Operations Supervisor is responsible for the daily operations of the business, which includes engaging with customers, managing staff, and collaborating with pool partners. This role entails financial accountability for all business aspects, including budget management, payroll, vendor payments, and daily expenditures.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • + Oversee and engage in business functions such as human resources, marketing, and financial planning.
  • + Collaborate with third-party vendors and systems to manage accounting, profit and loss statements, and tax obligations.
  • + Promote and market services to our clientele.
  • + Participate in educational and promotional events, as well as pool partnership development.
  • + Work alongside the Aquatics Lead to design and implement class schedules.
  • + Manage inventory and oversee equipment maintenance.
  • + Develop and adhere to the annual financial plan.
  • + Ensure compliance with accounting and tax regulations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • + Exceptional communication, customer service, and organizational abilities.
  • + Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • + Maintain a responsible and professional demeanor.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • + Certifications in Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED, which can be obtained during training.
  • + Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, finance, recreation, accounting, or relevant experience.

While we teach swimming to individuals of all ages and abilities, the majority of our students are preschool and elementary-aged children. Our instructors should enjoy working with this age group and excel at making parents feel at ease. Experience with children or in child-focused roles is beneficial but not mandatory if you demonstrate the right attitude. The position includes specialized training in our unique British Swim School methodology.

We also have exciting opportunities within our Customer Service Team, even if you're not directly involved in swimming instruction. These team members are dedicated to providing exceptional service in the industry, whether communicating with parents over the phone or by the poolside.
