Role Summary:

Rivian's Product Management team plays a critical role in our mission to build memorable customer experiences at every touchpoint. We aim to think critically about building a community around Rivian's desire to Keep the World Adventurous forever, while supporting the entire customer journey through ownership and beyond.

We strive to understand and predict our customers' needs, behaviors, and emotions, gathering insights that inform our experiential design, products, and digital tools. This role seeks a versatile operator with strong analytical and project management skills to support product and market insights.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Product & Market Insights team in developing and curating actionable narratives that allow us to better understand our customers' needs and the markets in which they live.
  • Develop, implement, and administer Rivian's product feedback loop across engineering, quality, design, and software functions.
  • Leverage customer and market insights data to develop recommendations and proposals to drive operational and strategic initiatives.
  • Create market and customer insights to support planning and operational teams in developing go-to-market strategies.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Partner with stakeholders to understand business needs and determine research approaches.
  • Design, test, and administer quantitative customer surveys.
  • Analyze top-down customer experience metrics in cooperation with Product, Quality, and other Rivian stakeholders.
  • Analyze and communicate critical insights to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to help teams stay nimble in dynamic environments.
  • Develop regular executive and operational reporting on market share, ensuring consistency and accuracy of analysis.
  • Lead the execution and synthesis of third-party customer research to support commercial initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • An innovative, customer-centric, and getting-things-done mindset and approach.
  • Proven ability to tell compelling stories through data and communicate them to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • 5+ years of market and customer research experience in analyzing and synthesizing customer/consumer data.
  • Strong marketing science, analytical, or statistics background.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management capability.
  • Excellent communication, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Must be a team player.
  • Occasionally requires nights/weekend work.
  • Auto experience strongly preferred.

Pay Disclosure:

Rivian provides robust medical/Rx, dental, and vision insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment, and Rivian covers most of the premiums.
