Job Summary

AmeriGas is seeking a skilled CDL B Local Delivery Driver to join our team. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for safely operating a propane delivery truck along designated routes, filling residential and commercial bulk tanks with propane, and delivering propane cylinders to customers.

Responsibilities
  • Safely operate a propane delivery truck along designated routes
  • Filling residential and commercial bulk tanks with propane
  • Delivering propane cylinders to customers
  • Perform all daily functions in a safe manner by adhering to all federal and state codes and regulations, as well as AmeriGas Safety and Operations Policies and Procedures
  • Consistent use of required Personal Protective Equipment
  • Depending on fluctuating needs, work 8 to 12-hour shifts

Requirements
  • All Delivery Representatives should have a valid class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements
  • Acceptable driving record
  • Satisfactory completion of a DOT physical, drug test, and background check
  • Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs

The pay for this position ranges from $28.50 to $29.00/hr, depending on circumstances including an applicant's skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation includes eligibility to earn a performance-based bonus or commissions on completed sales.

This is the Company's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this position as of the time of posting.
