Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SPS programmer to join our team as an Automation Expert. The successful candidate will be responsible for software programming, commissioning, and service assignments for our packaging machines.

Key Responsibilities

• Software Development: Develop and implement software programs for the complete functionality of our packaging machines, including SPS, servo drive technology, MMI, fieldbus, and safety technology.
• Commissioning and Service: Commission our packaging machines before delivery in cooperation with the electrical and mechanical assembly, and perform service assignments for prototypes at our global customers.
• Documentation and Support: Create electrical documentation for our customers and provide independent support in error localization and troubleshooting via remote maintenance and internal communication.
• Hardware Planning: Plan and design hardware components, including circuit diagrams and parts lists, using CAD software.

Requirements

• Education and Training: Completed studies in electrical engineering/automation technology or further training as a state-certified technician.
• Programming Skills: Proficient in programming languages, including SPS, motion, and safety programming, as well as Logix and GuardLogix family from Rockwell Automation.
