We are seeking a highly skilled Mortgage Closer to join our team at HCLTech. As a Mortgage Closer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient closing of mortgage loans. This involves reviewing loan files, preparing closing packages, and coordinating with settlement agents to ensure all necessary documents are in place.
Key Responsibilities
- Review loan files to ensure all conditions are cleared and the file is ready to close and fund.
- Prepare closing packages, including the issuance of funds, closing instructions, and other necessary documents.
- Coordinate with settlement agents to ensure all necessary documents are in place and that the closing process is completed efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure a seamless closing process.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
- Intermediate to advanced computer proficiency skills with MS Office, Excel, and mortgage loan applications/software.
- At least 6-12 months of prior loan closing experience.
- Excellent customer service skills, written and oral communication skills, and ability to demonstrate control, flexibility, and maintain quality and high productivity when dealing with customers and changing work demand.
- Ability to multi-task and operate in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
