Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Care Practitioner to join our team at Swedish Edmonds. As a key member of our respiratory care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support to patients of all ages, from neonates to geriatric patients.

Responsibilities
  • Perform respiratory care procedures on patients in all areas of the hospital, including neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric units.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' respiratory status and develop individualized care plans to meet their unique needs.
  • Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and other respiratory treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to changes in their condition, communicating effectively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and support to patients and their families.
Requirements
  • Successful completion of an accredited respiratory therapy educational program sufficient to qualify for licensure in Washington State.
  • Current Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License.
  • Current National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification.
  • Within 90 days of hire, National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association certification.
  • Within 90 days of hire, National Provider PALS - American Heart Association certification.
  • Within 90 days of hire, National Provider NRP - American Academy of Pediatrics certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Recent hospital experience as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
