Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Care Practitioner to join our team at Swedish Edmonds. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to patients of all ages, from neonates to geriatric patients.

Responsibilities
  • Perform respiratory care procedures, including ventilator management, oxygen therapy, and aerosol therapy.
  • Assess patient respiratory status and develop individualized care plans.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families on respiratory care and disease management.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and safety.
Requirements
  • Successful completion of an accredited respiratory therapy educational program.
  • Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
  • National Provider PALS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
  • National Provider NRP - American Academy of Pediatrics within 90 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist - National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) upon hire.
  • Recent hospital experience as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
