Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team in Austin, Texas.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to perform diagnostic and fluoroscopic imaging procedures on ambulatory patients in a physician office or clinic setting.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare patients for radiological procedures by positioning them, adjusting immobilization devices, and moving equipment into specified positions.
- Minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff by practicing radiation protection techniques and using beam restrictive devices.
- Document pregnancy status of female patients of childbearing age and take necessary shielding precautions.
- Ensure operation of radiology equipment by performing quality checks and troubleshooting as needed.
- Maintain radiology supplies inventory by checking stock levels, anticipating needed supplies, and expediting orders.
- Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
- Less than 1 year of experience in radiologic technology.
- ARRT-R Radiography certification.
