Responsibilities- Operate imaging equipment to produce high-quality radiologic images for diagnostic purposes.
- Position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring accurate and safe positioning.
- Administer contrast media and medications as needed, following established protocols and guidelines.
- Monitor patient safety during procedures and report any abnormalities or concerns.
- Ensure timely submission of high-quality images and documents to PACS.
- Maintain equipment in good working order, reporting any issues or malfunctions to appropriate personnel.
- Contribute to a clean and organized department, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
- BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date.
- Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist Certification Program.
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience or Associate's degree/Technical degree required.
