About the Role

The Facilities and Asset Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the optimal performance of Hertz's vehicle maintenance functions. This leadership position is responsible for providing administrative support to all maintenance activities, overseeing service maintenance on all vehicles within the fleet, and managing departmental employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of vehicle maintenance, including repair and upkeep, to maintain the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
  • Provide administrative support to maintenance teams, facilitating seamless day-to-day operations and ensuring tasks are completed promptly.
  • Cultivate and maintain positive working relationships with team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and open communication.
  • Coordinate schedules for routine service maintenance, guaranteeing that all vehicles are properly maintained and available for use.
  • Develop and implement efficient supply management systems, minimizing waste and optimizing resource allocation.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies, maintaining a safe and secure work environment.
Requirements

To succeed as a Facilities and Asset Manager at Hertz, you will need:

  • A valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Excellent multi-tasking and verbal/written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with a proven track record of independently resolving complex issues.
  • Ability to manage, develop, and motivate staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency in rental car procedures and location operations, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a management or supervisory role.
