SUMMARY:

This role is a full-time non-exempt position, contributing to the ARNG Mission Command Training Program (MCTSP). The Mission Command Support Team (MCST) Trainer is tasked with providing training on Mission Command Information Systems (MCIS) for the Mission Training Complex. Responsibilities include the creation of Training Support Packages (TSPs), formal classroom instruction, over-the-shoulder (OTS) support, and systems integration for individual and collective training events, while also incorporating Live, Virtual, Constructive, Gaming, and Mission Command (LVCG+MC) elements.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Conduct both formal and informal training sessions on MCIS during collective training exercises.
  • Develop Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) for the effective use of Mission Command systems.
  • Design communication architectures for unit collaboration and information sharing within Tactical Operations Centers (TOC), Command Posts (CP), and War-fighter functional areas.
  • Create and modify training materials to enhance Gaming and Simulation capabilities.
  • Establish tailored training environments to meet unit-specific requirements, including system setup, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Deliver training at single and multi-echelon levels in accordance with established MTC TSPs.
  • Support U.S. Army Mission Command capabilities, including but not limited to CPOF, FBCB2, BFT/BFT2, JCR, JBC-P, DCGS-A, TIGR, GCCSA, ICSF, AFATDS, AMDWS, TAIS, and JADOCS.
  • Maintain and update courseware documentation for Army Mission Command Systems (MCSs), ensuring alignment with each PM system TSP.
  • Report directly to the MCST Trainer Lead.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least 2 years of teaching experience in Mission Command Systems, preferably as an assistant instructor for similar courseware.
  • A minimum of 4 years of service in or in support of the Army or other national defense service.
  • Subject Matter Expertise (SME) in one or more Mission Command Systems (MCSs) with practical operational experience.
  • Completion of a relevant course of study leading to experience with Army Mission Command Systems (MCSs) and associated software.
  • Current certification in Army training doctrine.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

High School Diploma (Associate's degree preferred).

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance and fulfill other eligibility criteria for access to classified information.
