The Case Administrator is responsible for maintaining and processing case information, managing case progression, and performing customer service and cashier duties for the Ohio Southern District Court. This role involves utilizing Electronic Case Filing (ECF) and ensuring compliance with federal and local rules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and process case information, including reviewing incoming court documents for conformity with federal and local rules.
- Manage case progression from opening to final disposition, ensuring compliance with approved internal controls, procedures, and rules.
- Provide customer service and cashier duties, including providing procedural information and collecting court fees.
- Prepare case documents for appeal and review filed documents to determine conformity.
- Ensure all orders and automated entries are accurately and appropriately docketed.
Working Conditions:
This position is located in the Clerk's Office in Cincinnati and reports to the Case Management Supervisor. Limited telework may be available subject to operational needs. Typical work hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
