Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician III to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to and resolve guest repair requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and lubrication of tools and equipment.
  • Conduct visual inspections of tools, equipment, and machines to identify potential issues.
  • Operate and maintain shut-off valves for equipment, and maintain inventory of parts and supplies.
  • Communicate effectively with guests, colleagues, and management to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with vocational or technical training in maintenance or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in hotel engineering or maintenance, with a focus on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Valid driver's license and Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) certification.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in general maintenance, electrical, or refrigeration, with a focus on parts inventory and requisition.
  • At least 2 years of hotel engineering/maintenance experience, with a focus on exterior and interior surface preparation and painting.
