Job Summary:

The Emergency Department Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing direct patient care, assessing patient needs, and developing individualized care plans. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient needs, preferences, and goals
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and achieve optimal outcomes
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
  • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in the state of practice
  • At least 18 months of recent experience in an Acute Care Emergency Room setting
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, nights
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time, and maintain a high level of productivity in a fast-paced environment
