Emergency Department Nurse

We are actively hiring for an Emergency Department Nurse at our hospital in Newark, DE. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Job Summary:The Emergency Department Nurse will be responsible for assessing patients' needs, prioritizing care, and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans. You will also educate patients and their families about their condition and care plan.
Responsibilities:- Assess patients' needs and prioritize care
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and their families about their condition and care plan
- Monitor patient health conditions, administer medications, and operate and maintain medical equipment
- Participate in code blue and other emergency situations
- ADN or higher degree in nursing
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
- 1+ years of experience in an emergency room (ER) setting preferred
- ACLS, PALS certification preferred
