Job Summary:

This role provides customer service for employees on health and welfare benefit programs, basic generalist services, project support, and process administration at an assigned location. The HR Coordinator will assist the HR leader with HR administration, including tracking and maintaining personnel records, coordinating merit processes, and advising employees and managers on policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist HR leader with HR administration, including tracking and maintaining personnel records, coordinating merit processes, and advising employees and managers on policies and procedures.

Provide customer service for employees on health and welfare benefit programs, basic generalist services, project support, and process administration at an assigned location.

Coordinate the job posting and new hire process, including posting positions, keeping applicant flow information, and initiating offer letters.

Conduct new employee orientation and initiate and complete new employee paperwork.

Assist in department budget monitoring and advise employees and managers on policies and procedures.

Requirements:

AA degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in HR.

Basic knowledge of HR concepts and HR law.

Working knowledge of HR processes and ability to work on HRIS system/Time & Attendance system.

Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain confidential information.

Preferred Qualifications:

Relevant Bachelor's degree (Business, HR).

Typical/expected % of overnight travel: Limited, occasional.
