Job Title: HR Generalist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Generalist to join our team at voestalpine Roll Forming Corporation. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive HR support to our plant leadership and team members, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with Plant Manager to provide HR support and guidance on employee relations issues.
  • Advise supervisors and managers on HR-related matters, including conflict management and employee development.
  • Conduct plant safety program activities, including audits, hazard identification, and accident investigations.
  • Facilitate Employee Safety Committee and Supervisor Committee meetings.
  • Support manufacturing function in coordinating and providing proper staffing and recruiting.
  • Administer corporate training programs, including scheduling and maintenance of ongoing education courses.
  • Provide HR administrative support, including processing forms, setting up company meetings, and coordinating events.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • 2-5 years of experience in HR Generalist functions, including employee relations, conflict management, and training.
  • Proficiency in conflict management, coaching, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel to other RFC sites for training and communication meetings.
  • Computer skills and ability to learn new programs, including HR systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bilingual Spanish and English.
  • 2-5 years of experience in recruiting and benefits administration.
  • Experience in manufacturing environment.
  • Professional Human Resources (PHR) Certificate and/or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP).
  • OSHA 30-Hr Certification and/or Certification/Training from National Safety Council: Train the Trainer CPR, First Aid, and AED.
Work Environment:

The work environment is typically quiet, with occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands of this job include sitting, talking, and hearing, with occasional standing, walking, and lifting up to 10 pounds.
