Position Overview
As a District Manager, you will oversee the operations of multiple retail locations within your designated area, focusing on enhancing sales performance and profitability. Your role will involve implementing company strategies and ensuring adherence to corporate standards while providing effective leadership to store management teams.

Key Responsibilities
1.

Guide and support Store Management to achieve operational excellence.

2.

Oversee financial performance by managing processes that meet sales targets and coordinating the annual budgeting for each store's sales and expenses.

3.

Ensure compliance with company standards in all store operations, including inventory management, merchandise presentation, and sales transactions.

4.

Maintain the aesthetic quality of store interiors and exteriors, ensuring they align with company expectations.

5.

Develop and implement sales and customer service strategies that leverage local market opportunities, enhance customer loyalty, and address feedback effectively.

6.

Manage and develop direct reports through effective staffing, training, performance evaluation, and succession planning.

7.

Collaborate with asset protection teams to enforce shrinkage prevention measures and achieve targeted shrinkage goals.

8.

Foster positive associate relations across all stores within your district.

9.

Regularly gather and analyze information from stores to inform decision-making.


Qualifications
1. A minimum of five years of experience in retail management is required, with a preference for candidates who have worked in multi-unit or high-volume retail environments.
2.

Willingness to travel frequently by car or air, including overnight stays, is essential.

Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate travel is necessary.


3. A solid understanding of profit and loss management, budgeting, operations, payroll, and merchandising is required.
4. Exceptional organizational, communication, leadership, presentation, and interpersonal skills are essential.
5. Strong decision-making abilities and problem-solving skills are required.
