Overview
As a Retail Manager at GP Mobile, an Authorized T-Mobile Retailer, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales professionals to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive sales growth. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic and fast-paced environment where you can develop your leadership skills and contribute to the success of a leading wireless retailer.
Key Responsibilities
• Complete observations of store employees' interactions with customers, providing feedback to enhance their development and coaching conversations.
• Assist with customer-related issues, ensuring a positive experience within the T-Mobile brand and expectations.
• Own store success, taking ownership of employees' work-related needs, store leadership, staffing, and scheduling, while maintaining labor controls, marketing, loss prevention, and all other store functions.
• Support operational excellence by monitoring sales and inventory, managing sales tracking, and implementing new store programs and initiatives.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and organized store environment.
• Seek to hire employees who are passionate about building long-lasting customer relationships and are enthusiastic about the T-Mobile Brand and digital technology.
• Support team development, training, mentoring, and driving behaviors that lead to earning a place in customers' hearts and store employee success.
• Lead by example, staying up-to-date on the latest products, services, training, and leadership best practices to remain an expert resource to your team.
• Support team initiatives and create an inclusive environment.
• Drive operational efficiencies to minimize risk and protect store assets, delivering financial results based on key performance indicators, and identifying ways to manage and control store expenses.
• Show your team you're invested in their success through personalized performance management plans and conversations, as well as celebrating achievements through recognition.
• Ensure store employees meet and/or exceed defined, monthly success measurements, and meet or exceed sales goals for the store.
Requirements
• 2-4 years of management experience in retail sales, preferably in a high-volume environment.
• 2-4 years of sales and sales management experience.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• High School Diploma or GED.
