Job Description
As a Pediatric Nephrologist at Connecticut Children's, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment where you can make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive and compassionate care to infants, children, and adolescents with renal disorders. This role will involve assessing, evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Assessing, evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients
• Performing and/or ordering clinically appropriate procedures
• Analyzing medical histories, diagnostic lab test results, and x-ray images to formulate diagnoses and plans of care
• Prescribing medication and treatment for each patient
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals when necessary
• Maintaining accurate and complete medical records
Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:
• MD or DO degree required
• Completion of a residency program in Pediatrics and a fellowship program in Nephrology
• Board eligible or certified in Pediatric Nephrology
• Licensure and registration in the State of Connecticut
• DEA certification
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this position is approximately $ $220,000 - $270,000 per year, depending on experience. Additional benefits include comprehensive health insurance, paid time off, and retirement savings plan.
