Pediatric Nephrologist

At Connecticut Children's, we are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Nephrologist to join our team in Hartford, CT. As a key member of our academic department, you will have the opportunity to deliver comprehensive quality patient care to infants, children and adolescents with renal disorders.

This part-time role involves providing diagnostic services and treatment for a wide range of kidney disorders, including congenital and acquired kidney disease. You will work closely with an inter-disciplinary team within an integrated academic model and collaborate with other divisions as needed.

• Assess, evaluate, diagnose and treat patients
• Perform and/or order clinically appropriate procedures, including acute/chronic dialysis and therapeutic apheresis
• Analyze medical histories, diagnostic lab tests and x-ray results, clinical examinations and perform physical examinations to formulate a diagnosis and plan of care
• Prescribe clinically appropriate medication and treatment for each patient
• Work collaboratively with other physicians, specialists and health care practitioners as needed
• Maintain accurate, complete, appropriate, timely and legible medical records relating to all professional services provided

• MD or DO degree required
• Successful completion of residency and fellowship program as applicable
• Board eligible or certified in Pediatric Nephrology
• Licensed and registered, and in good standing under the laws of the State of Connecticut
• Active and Unrestricted D.E.A. Certificate

We offer a competitive salary range of $250,000 - $300,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, paid time off and more.
