Job Summary

Responsible for direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of key projects that align with the strategy, business commitments, and goals of the company. The key projects can range in scope from driving the new product development projects, engineering projects, and new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Partner with R&D, Operations, Regulatory, Quality, Project Management, Finance, and Marketing and others to define project scope, goals, and deliverables as well as successfully manage projects.
  2. Develops accurate, achievable project plans and consistently communicates the plans with team members and the leadership team.
  3. Drives team ownership and commitment to project plans and recommends changes when necessary to meet project outputs.
  4. Tracks and communicates project performance, specifically to analyze successful completion of short- and long-term goals.
  5. Ensures on-time completion of tasks as required by the project and/or company procedures.
  6. Facilitates cross-functional project team meetings.
Requirements
  1. Minimum Education or Equivalent Experience Required/Preferred:
  2. Bachelor's degree in science or business administration or related field OR Bachelor's degree in engineering.
  3. At least 5 years of project management experience.
  4. Project management qualification (PMP) or equivalent preferred.
Competencies
  1. Demonstrated Project Management skills with proven record of practical project management experience preferably in the diagnostic or related biotechnical field.
  2. Demonstrate successful management of product(s) from concept to launch.
  3. Must have the ability to perform critical path identification.
  4. Excellent problem-solving skills. Must be a self-starter, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize and balance workloads and timelines and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  5. Must be able to work independently as well as collaboratively with peers and colleagues in a cross-functional setting.
  6. Must be well organized and have the ability to meet strict deadlines and perform under pressure in a fast-paced work environment.
  7. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and written and oral communication skills.
  8. Basic understanding of device development, engineering, and manufacturing activities is a plus.
