We are seeking an experienced and highly responsible client care coordinator to join our dynamic team at Dr. Stephen J. Oreski LCSW & Associates.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years of administrative, medical billing, and patient-care experience. A Bachelor's degree is preferred.

This position is perfect for a social work, counseling, or psychology student looking to gain valuable skills and experience in the field.

  • Eligibility verification for treatments and procedures.
  • Patient bill review for accuracy and completeness.
  • Claims preparation, review, and transmission using billing software.
  • Patient scheduling management.
  • General office administration tasks.

Requirements:

  • Exceptional customer service skills for interacting with patients regarding medical claims and payments.
  • A calm manner and patience working with patients or insurers during the process.
  • Knowledge of insurance guidelines, including HMO/PPO, Medicare, and other payer requirements.
  • Effective communication abilities for phone contacts with insurance payers to resolve issues.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organization.
  • Flexible schedule and mentality.

Salary Range: $45,000 - $55,000 per annum
