Position Overview

We are seeking a project manager to assist an office focused on technology and infrastructure initiatives. The ideal candidate will facilitate the integration of the user base of open-source tools, necessitating coordination and integration of various projects across multiple teams.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

  • Conduct ongoing evaluations of project and program management frameworks, governance structures, and their overall effectiveness in achieving strategic objectives to enhance efficiencies.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to leadership regarding potential implementation options, utilizing industry best practices to establish a more streamlined enterprise agile approach.
  • Facilitate coordination among diverse projects and government teams to ensure quality outcomes and promote technical advancement toward the organization’s strategic goals.
  • Participate in open-source-related meetings to maintain continuity on complex and sometimes varied activities.

Required Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required.
  • Proven experience in business project management, management consulting, or system/project integration.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience managing highly visible projects, including leading coordination and integration across teams.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience in requirements gathering and translating between technical and non-technical personnel.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including the use of Jira and Confluence tools.
  • Experience supporting an open-source mission.
