Maintenance Mechanic

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at Frito-Lay. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and installing pneumatic and hydraulic systems, control valves, centrifugal and positive displacement pumps.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and repair AC/DC electrical systems, read schematics, and use electrical testing equipment (Volt-Ohm meter, amp meter, oscilloscope)
- Conduct preventative maintenance and repair of production and facilities equipment
- Inspect machines, develop repair lists, and identify short-term and long-term repairs to ensure maximum equipment efficiency, effectiveness, and reliability
- Respond to maintenance calls, assist entry-level mechanics with difficult repairs, and work under pressure to fix equipment
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance systems and work order tracking
- At least 18 years of age or older
- Ability to lift 15 to 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time with or without a reasonable accommodation
- Ability to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods with or without a reasonable accommodation
- Willing and able to work in an environment with extreme temperatures, humidity, hazardous/loud equipment, and slippery surfaces
- Electrical certification
- Maintenance manufacturing experience
- Technical school training
- Welding experience
