Job Summary

Crenlo is seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor to join our Manufacturing Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in driving improvements and supporting an environment of excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cultivate a Strong Safety Culture: Promote a safe working environment and ensure compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Interpret Schedules and Coordinate Manpower: Analyze production schedules and coordinate the necessary resources to meet area goals and ensure uninterrupted flow of products and services.
  • Provide Leadership and Direction: Lead and motivate production staff to achieve quality, efficiency, and other area goals.
  • Develop and Communicate Departmental Policies: Assist in the development, communication, and deployment of departmental policies and procedures.
  • Execute Operations Annual Operating Plan (AOP) Goals: Lead and drive continuous improvement activities within the assigned area and develop correction action plans when necessary.
  • Promote Lean Manufacturing Programs: Facilitate the implementation of lean manufacturing programs and techniques to improve working conditions and departmental safety performance.
  • Maintain High Housekeeping Standards: Ensure a clean and organized work environment.
  • Facilitate Training and Coaching: Provide training, coaching, and employee performance reviews, including cross-training within the assigned area of responsibility.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required.
  • Three Years of Supervision Experience: Required.
  • Problem Prevention and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem prevention and problem-solving skills are essential.
  • Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to Establish and Maintain Effective Working Relationships: Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, leadership, and labor union representatives.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Post-Secondary Education in a Related Field: Preferred, but not required.
  • Lean Manufacturing Experience: Preferred, but not required.
  • Metal Fabrication and Weld Experience: Preferred, but not required.
