Manufacturing Operations Specialist

- Assist supervisors in production line operations, ensuring adherence to plant policies and procedures.
- Coordinate production startups, shutdowns, and changeovers to optimize efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with planning, parts, and other departments to resolve issues.
- Track and enter data into MRP and Excel spreadsheets to inform business decisions.
- SUPPORT cell operations to meet shift production goals and contribute to overall company success.
- MANAGE daily improvements to enhance productivity and quality.
- OPERATE within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and special instructions (SIs).
- Communicate with shift supervisors and colleagues to ensure seamless collaboration.
- High School Diploma or GED required; post-secondary coursework preferred.
- Basic computer skills required; experience with manufacturing processes and machinery an asset.
- Knowledge of basic lean concepts, Kanban, inventory, and workflow principles.
- Understanding of basic problem-solving methodologies.
- Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Competitive salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.
