Position Summary:
The Management Trainee Program is designed to cultivate the skills of future leaders across all facets of the manufacturing landscape.
The Trainee will gain insights into the tools, methodologies, and support systems necessary for devising and executing innovative strategies within Lippert.
The curriculum offered during the program will serve as a guide that introduces each Trainee to the foundational structure that Lippert aspires to and has established.
Key Responsibilities:
To excel in this role, an individual must effectively carry out each essential duty. The qualifications listed under essential functions represent the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required. Work Environment:
Primarily on the production floor, potential exposure to various elements (heat, cold, etc.).
May require prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
Frequent use of hands to operate machinery.
Opportunities available for 1st shift, 2nd shift, and off-shift work.
Qualifications:
Three to five years of experience in a manufacturing setting, or a technical or bachelor's degree in one of the following fields is preferred:
Engineering:
Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial
Manufacturing:
Business Administration, Global Business Strategy, Leadership and Supervision, LEAN Manufacturing
Supply Chain:
Purchasing, Supply Chain Logistics, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or a related field of study.

Supervisory Role:
This position does not entail any supervisory responsibilities upon hiring. The ultimate aim is to lead teams and/or processes.
Physical Requirements:

Specific vision abilities required for this role include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Position Type/Expected Work Hours:
This is a full-time role, with expected work hours determined by the hiring manager.
Travel Requirements:
Local travel is necessary for this position.
If this role is for a location outside of Indiana, the candidate may need to relocate to Indiana for the duration of the Management Trainee program.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Three to five years of experience in a manufacturing environment, or a technical or bachelor's degree in a preferred area.
Work Authorization/Security Clearance
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
