We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Specialist to become part of our innovative team dedicated to transforming the battery sector through the advancement of next-generation, all solid-state rechargeable batteries.

Our work environment is dynamic, fast-paced, and collaborative, fostering innovation and teamwork. The primary responsibilities of this role will include managing equipment, performing repairs, providing immediate troubleshooting support, and conducting preventative maintenance. This position is crucial to the success of both our Research & Development and production teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist or take the lead in the hands-on installation, operation, and upkeep of both new and existing machinery, as well as new line setups.

- Maintain and monitor maintenance schedules for all equipment utilizing CMMS software and scheduling tools.

- Collaborate with other departments as necessary to ensure smooth production integration for process-specific equipment and coordinate with our staff and contractors when required.

- Contribute to the formulation of new procedures and enhancements to general practices through the creation of work instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). - Effectively communicate work results through data collection, management, documentation, and reporting to supervisors. - Plan and execute preventative maintenance on production machinery. - Conduct repairs on all production equipment as necessary. - Work autonomously with minimal supervision (self-management). - Inspect equipment to ensure proper functionality and perform preventative maintenance tasks according to manufacturer specifications.

Qualifications/Requirements:

- An Associate degree or equivalent experience in a technical or related field, or a minimum of 10 years of maintenance experience in a laboratory, technology, or manufacturing setting.

- Familiarity with industry safety and reliability standards. - General maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting experience with industrial electrical control systems (480VAC, 208VAC, 110VAC, and 24VDC), pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical drive systems. - Experience with starters, relays, contacts, and fuses. - Proficiency in replacing pump seals, motors, and gearboxes. - Knowledge of hydraulic cylinders, valves, and hoses. - Strong structured problem-solving and analytical skills. - A quick learner who excels in a fast-paced startup environment. - Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks with minimal oversight.
