POSITION OVERVIEW

As a Mechanical Equipment Maintenance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability of mechanical systems at our terminals. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting regular inspections and performance assessments of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Diagnosing issues and determining the necessary repairs or replacements for malfunctioning components.
  • Performing maintenance and repairs on a variety of mechanical equipment, including pumps, motors, and vapor control systems.
  • Assisting in the training of peers and supporting other technicians as needed.

This position requires a proactive and self-motivated individual with strong problem-solving skills.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Inspect and test mechanical and electrical components to identify malfunctions.
  • Recommend repairs or replacements based on inspection findings.
  • Execute scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment history.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other personnel to enhance equipment reliability.

QUALIFICATIONS

We seek candidates with:

  • An associate degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in mechanical maintenance.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with PLC systems.
  • Basic proficiency in computer applications for maintenance management.
