Job Summary

The PACT Addictions Specialist provides treatment, rehabilitation, and support services to adults with substance abuse conditions and co-occurring mental illness. The successful candidate will lead design of intervention strategies and relapse prevention plans.

This fast-paced, community-based position requires strong time management, writing, and organizational skills. The ideal candidate will have three to five years of supervised practical experience in a clinical or rehabilitation setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide treatment, rehabilitation, and support services to adults with substance abuse conditions and co-occurring mental illness
  • Design and implement intervention strategies and relapse prevention plans
  • Work with clients on sobriety issues using motivational interviewing techniques and stages of change model
  • Collaborate with the team to develop individualized treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of client interactions and progress

Requirements

  • CADAC, LADAC I or II certification in the State of service required
  • Three to five years supervised practical experience in a clinical or rehabilitation setting
  • Bachelor's degree in a human service discipline preferred; High School Diploma or GED required
  • Strong time management, writing, and organizational skills

Salary and Schedule

The estimated salary for this position is $60,480 per year. The schedule includes Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8am-4pm, Wednesdays and Fridays from 8am-8pm, with flexibility based on program needs and weekend hours on a rotational basis.
